We have been doing lots of work in the dinosaur unit.We have researched T-Rex,Triceratops, And Stegosaurus.We have taken notes,labelled and produced a report on each of these dinosaurs. We will upload our work soon.

Today we learnt about the job of a paleontologist. We learnt we had to have great skill and lots and lots of patience.We know that they use small tools and brushes.We imagined what it would be like as we excavated a chocolate chip cookie to see how many choc chips we could find,It took a long time and lots and lots of patience. Daniel won as he found 43 chips in his cookie.

9/2/2012 Today we completed our 3 step artwork about a brachiosaurus.We used paint, paper and pencils to finish.
19/3/2012 Mrs Pardy showed us how to draw a Brachiosaurus.We used charcoal,crayon and paint .We hoped you like our art work.

After much discussion about how paleontologists used all the information they find around the fossilized bones we decided to make our own dinosaur poo (pretend).They are called coprolites.We decided that we could use jelly dinosaurs to hide in the mixture to signify a meat eater and spearmint leaves (lollies) to signify a plant eater, We had such a lot of fun doing this.
